As my experience grew, I travelled to fashion fairs and trade exhibitions around the world, meeting manufacturers, designers, retailers, and entrepreneurs. I realised many great brands struggled to gain attention because exhibitions were expensive, crowded, and limited by location. I believed the internet could remove those barriers, giving businesses and creators a platform to reach customers directly, anytime and anywhere.

Around the year 2000, I became fascinated by the internet and its potential to transform business. Life brought personal challenges that slowed my progress, including the loss of my father in 2000 and my mother’s passing in 2016. Those experiences strengthened my determination to keep moving forward. I never gave up on the vision of creating a platform where independent brands, creators, and entrepreneurs could build successful businesses online.
